GIVING BACK TO THE SOUTH PACIFIC

As the heart of South Pacific shipping, it is important to us that we give back to the communities that we operate in and that our employees also live and work in. 

Giving back has always been part of who we are at PFL, beginning as a homegrown initiative driven by our passion to support local charities, groups, and causes that focus on health, wellbeing, education and sustainability. This support could look like being an official partner, regularly donating, or our people volunteering their time to make a difference. 

Our philanthropic approach is simple – support our customers beyond their shipping and logistics needs by having a positive impact on the community. 

Over the years, these efforts have been amplified through the creation of PFL Foundation in 2017. 

PFL FOUNDATION

Following our acquisition by the Government of Samoa and Neptune Pacific in 2014, we have delivered this support under our not-for-profit entity, PFL Foundation. PFL Foundation allows us to give to the people of Samoa and Tonga. 

One of our primary PFL Foundation causes is the Samoa Victim Support Group (SVSG) located in Apia, to whom we gift an annual donation. Additionally, our people have given their time to provide on-site support for SVSG through property maintenance, caring for children, and general contributing to the campus environment. 

We are proud to stand side-by-side with SVSG on their mission to support and uplift victims of violence and promote social justice. 

Within the wider community, the PFL Foundation supports multiple organisations and initiatives that contribute to a better society and a better planet.
